Wrapping up my Visual story project, I tried to adhere my work to two questions or what I want my viewers to ask themselves when they see my work.
1) Was everything the nameless soldier did for nothing? What would have happened if he had run away?
2) In circumstances like this, what would you do? What would be most important to you?

I've tried to make the story flow as much as possible. Separating the text form the images which I think will help people focus on each and may even give the audience a few surprises. As far as the questions stated above, I believe that the man's efforts despite his demise had meaning. It can be argued since he was never able to deliver his information that what he saw and did had any impact on events as a whole. However, I think it is not so much his results but his experience and his eventual resolve that mattered the most. Even though no one else saw his struggle I think it is important that we do brave acts not because we want to be remembered by them, but because it is the right thing to do. If he had run away, he may have lived a bit longer but he would have been dragged into the world wide conflict eventually. He may have also demonstrated his inner courage in another form, such as helping civilians. A situation like this can bring out the best and the worst in people, I hope that this comes across in my story.

I couldn't imagine what I would do if the world started to come down around me like that. First and foremost, I would want to find my family and help keep them safe. Maybe help people where I can along the way. Its really hard to wrap your head around what you would do, since you really can't know until it happens. That being said, it hasn't stopped a lot of people in my generation to think about the idea of the world as we know it coming to an end. It is people like that who should understand the story that I am trying to depict with my project.
